Principal's Message

Bowman Ashe/Doolin K-8 Academy is located in Southwest Miami-Dade County, and is home to approximately 1050 students in grades Pre-K through eighth. Our student population is as diverse as the community we serve, with children from a host of different ethnic and linguistic backgrounds. Bowman Ashe/Doolin K-8 Academy offers individualized, comprehensive programs of study for all students. Our "Prodigy" gifted program, courses for Exceptional Student Education (ESE) youngsters, and English for Students of Other Languages (ESOL) classes are but a few of the educational services offered to meet the academic needs of our students. Ashe/Doolin's instructional personnel is comprised of innovative and dedicated professionals, many of whom possess postgraduate degrees in education and have years of experience as educators. Our teachers are active in enhancing their professional expertise and consistently participate in training activities to further refine their skills. Here at Ashe/Doolin, our primary focus is to foster the academic, social, and emotional development of all our students so that they may become global competitors. We are confident in each child's ability to learn and make worthwhile contributions to our world.
